July 8-10, 2010, Medical Sciences Teaching Centre, Oxford, UK UEGF and EASL have joined efforts and are organizing the first UEGF-EASL Professional Trainee Course in 2010! The meeting on Cholestatic Liver Disease will take place from Thursday-Saturday, July 8-10, 2010 at the Medical Sciences Teaching Centre in Oxford, UK. UEGF invites young fellows in training for gastroenterology and hepatology, radiologists, surgeons and physicians in the last year of internal medicine a/o paediatrics training to apply online on http://www.uegf.org/education/uegf_easl_form.php?navId=286. A short curriculum vitae (1 page) will be required to complete the online application. The submission of a max. 400 words clinical case based on some form of cholestasis is highly encouraged as the 12 best case submitters will receive free registration for the course! Participation is by selection only. A maximum of 100 trainees will be invited based on criteria of academic excellence, balance of specialties covered, age and regional and gender representation. Once the course fee of EUR 100,- is received, UEGF and EASL are happy to provide two (2) nights of accommodation (single room) from July 8-10, 2010 at Wadham College Oxford as well as full course registration inc. lunches and coffee breaks during the time of the course. In addition, delegates will have the possibility to socialize during common groups meals and faculty dinners on Thursday and Friday evening. Thereby, close interaction with faculty and peers and a unique network opportunity with top experts from all over Europe will be guaranteed.
