EURO-NOTES 2009, the 3rd joint European NOTES Workshop, is a combined activity of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) and will be held in Barcelona, Spain from Thursday, September 24 through Saturday, September 26, 2009.

EURO-NOTES 2009 is again designed to be the European annual Think Tank of experts from the laparoscopic surgery and interventional endoscopic disciplines furthering the development of N.O.T.E.S. It is a meeting where the Specialists and Scientific fraternity meet in dialogue with medical device and biomedical industry to compare notes on the latest results and findings in research and clinical practice with the aim of establishing new benchmarks in best practice in Europe.

ESGE Individual Members are eligible to receive a registration fee reduction for this meeting and this benefit is available until August 1, 2009.

Endoscopy impact factor

As you may be aware, the journal Endoscopy’s new impact factor has substantially increased, from 4.166 to 6.091. This means that Endoscopy is now ranking seventh among the GI journals. 

The ESGE thanks Professor Rösch and his team plus the Editorial Board, Authors and Reviewers for their constant efforts to increase not only the Impact Factor, but also the quality of the journal.

Subscription to the journal Endoscopy is included in ESGE Individual Membership fee.
